For more than twenty years, I’ve worked at the intersection of recruiting, coaching, and writing, helping professionals align what they do with who they are and where they want to go.
Through CareerMeUp Coaching, I work with people at every stage — from new graduates finding their footing to executives and encore-career professionals ready to redefine impact.
My coaching blends strategy with insight: clarifying what you want, creating materials that express it, and developing the language, confidence, and presence to pursue it.
CareerMeUp didn’t begin as a business plan. It grew naturally, when people who’d seen my work — colleagues, clients, and friends — began sending others my way for help. A resume tweak here, an interview prep there, a gut check on a next move. I don’t want to overstate my talent as a headhunter, but years of having the privelege to see and play a role in how hiring really works have given me perspective. You notice what lands, what doesn’t, and what people remember long after the interview and into the growth that follows.
Those small favors turned into deeper conversations about strategy, language, and confidence. It just bloomed. The same curiosity and care that led me to start NerdUp Recruiting and Staffing still drive me. After all these years, it never gets old. I love seeing the spark when the right person and the right role find each other.
You don’t need a reinvention. You need perspective, focus, and the right words to move you forward.

I’ve spent my career helping great people tailor, love, and talk about their careers.
For more than twenty years, I’ve helped people find work that fits who they are, not just what they do. I coach rising leaders and guide professionals through major transitions across corporate, government, and nonprofit worlds. I also help executives and professionals tell stories that land in rooms that matter.
I’ve sat on all sides of the hiring table as a headhunter, HR director, and coach. I’ve seen talented people talk themselves out of great opportunities. My job is to make sure you don’t.
Hiring systems weren’t built for humans. Even accomplished professionals undersell what makes them exceptional. That’s where I come in. Together, we’ll sharpen what’s working, fix what’s not, and tell your story so it actually gets heard.
I’ve led hiring decisions that shape organizations and understand how leaders and interview panels evaluate talent.
I help professionals position themselves for promotions, pivots, and new opportunities by building visibility, credibility, and confidence.
I work with clients through coaching, career strategy, and writing projects that help them stand out on paper and in person.
The best candidates don’t just sell skills. They create clarity. They connect what they do with who they are across resumes, interviews, and conversations. That’s the bridge we build together.
Work and interviewing should feel like a fit, not a performance. Everyone deserves to show up as themselves and still move forward with confidence.
My job is to help you align what you’re great at with what matters most so success actually feels like success again.
I’ve coached founders, operators, government leaders, mid-level professionals, and high-achieving students from top schools. The goal is always the same: to help you stop second-guessing and start owning your story.
If you’re ready to stop guessing, and start moving toward work that actually fits, let’s talk about your next move.
I’m certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through HRCI and completed advanced studies in HR leadership at Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, focused on building better teams and workplaces.
I stay active in professional communities like SHRM, the National Résumé Writers’ Association, and the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches. Staying connected keeps me current on recruiter technology, hiring trends, and what helps candidates stand out.
Before launching my companies, I led HR, recruiting, and organizational strategy for organizations navigating growth and change. That experience shaped how I coach—practical, candid, and focused on what truly drives hiring and leadership decisions.
I graduated from Bryn Mawr College, where I edited both the campus newspaper and the humor magazine. I also interned as a speechwriter at the White House, learning from some of the best communicators in the country how to tailor messages that land.
Now, as a coach and speaker, I help students and professionals find their voice, direction, and confidence. I also serve as President of the Georgetown Day School Alumni Board, supporting initiatives that strengthen community, inclusion, and professional growth.
